Delete your account & data

01 Delete directly in the app

The fastest way to remove your account and data is from inside Nourish. It takes under a minute and no email is required.

  1. Open your profile

    Launch Nourish and tap the Profile tab (the icon in the bottom-right of the navigation bar).

  2. Go to Settings

    Tap Settings (the gear icon), then scroll to the Account section.

  3. Tap “Delete account”

    Select Delete account. You may be asked to re-authenticate to confirm it’s really you.

  4. Confirm

    Read the confirmation, then tap Delete to permanently remove your account and all associated data. This cannot be undone.

This is permanent

Deleting your account erases your logs, profile, and history. There is no way to recover the data afterward, so export anything you want to keep first.

02 Prefer to request it? Email us

If you can’t access the app — for example, you’ve uninstalled it or can’t sign in — you can ask us to delete your account on your behalf.

  1. Email support@nourishapp.com from the email address associated with your account.
  2. Use the subject line “Delete my Nourish account.”
  3. So we can verify the request, send it from your account email. We may ask one or two questions to confirm your identity before we proceed.

We’ll confirm by email once your account and data have been deleted.

03 What gets removed

When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data tied to it from our active systems, including:

  • Your account record and sign-in identifiers (email, Apple/Google identifier, display name).
  • Your profile and goals (age range, sex, height, weight, activity level, targets).
  • All of your nutrition and activity logs, meals, favorites, and notes.
  • Any images you attached to entries.
  • App preferences and settings associated with your account.

04 What we may keep, and why

  • Encrypted backups — residual copies may remain in routine backups for a short period until they are overwritten on our backup rotation. They are not used for any other purpose.
  • Limited legal records — where the law requires it, we may retain a minimal record (for example, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse).
  • Aggregated, de-identified data — information that can no longer be linked to you may be retained to understand overall app usage.

05 How long it takes

In-app deletionImmediate — your account and data are removed from active systems right away.

BackupsCleared within the backup rotation, no later than 90 days.

06 Questions

Will deleting the app delete my data?

No. Removing Nourish from your device does not delete your account or the data stored on our servers. Use one of the methods above to delete your data.

Can I delete some data without deleting my account?

Yes. You can edit or remove individual entries inside the app at any time, keeping your account active.

What if I signed in with Apple or Google?

Deleting your Nourish account removes your data from Nourish. To also stop sharing your sign-in with Nourish, revoke access in your Apple ID or Google Account settings.
